Learn a trade that keeps Pittsburgh warm
We hire people who are careful, honest and good with customers, then teach them the rest. Experience helps. It isn't required for every role.
Where you could fit
We're not always hiring for every position, but we're always glad to hear from good people. Tell us which role interests you.
Chimney technician
Run sweeps and inspections, operate the flue camera, explain findings to homeowners and write up clear photo reports. You'll be the face of the company in people's living rooms.
- Chimney, HVAC, roofing or other trade experience helps
- Willingness to learn the trade the right way
- Comfortable on ladders and roofs
Apprentice / helper
Work alongside a lead technician: set up drop cloths and HEPA vacuums, handle ladders and equipment, and learn sweeping and inspection from the ground up. This is the starting point for a technician career.
- No chimney experience needed
- Reliable, on time and ready to learn
- Comfortable with physical work and heights
Masonry technician
Repoint and rebuild chimneys, repair and pour crowns, and install caps and flashing. Pittsburgh's older brick and freeze-thaw winters keep this work interesting.
- Brick and mortar experience
- Careful, clean work at height
- Pride in repairs that blend in and last
Office & scheduling
Answer calls and texts, book appointments, build routes, and keep customers updated. You're the reason we can reply within one business hour and hold a 2-hour arrival window.
- Friendly, clear phone manner
- Organized and comfortable with scheduling software
- Customer service experience helps
We can teach the trade. Character we can't.
Our customers let us into their homes and trust what we tell them. The people we hire have to deserve that.
- Honesty. You report what you see, including "this is fine." No scare tactics, ever.
- Respect for people's homes. Shoe covers on, drop cloths down, nothing left behind.
- Reliability. Our arrival windows only work if every crew shows up on time.
- Clear communication. You can explain a cracked flue tile to a homeowner without jargon.
- Safety first. You take ladders, roofs and carbon monoxide seriously.
Send us a few honest sentences
No long forms. Tell us which role interests you, a little about your work so far, and the best number to reach you. No chimney experience is needed for the apprentice role.
A trade with a future
Learn the trade
We train you on the job: sweeping, inspections, NFPA 211 basics, safe roof work and how to explain findings to homeowners clearly.
Work through every season
Sweeps and inspections peak in fall and winter. Masonry, caps and crowns pick up when the weather warms. Dryer vents and leak repairs keep going all year.
Close to home
We only work in Greater Pittsburgh, so your day is spent on jobs, not long drives across the state.
