What we collect

When you book online

Our booking form asks for:

• Your name and mobile phone number
• Your email address (optional)
• The street address and ZIP code where the work will happen
• The service you're interested in and a preferred date or time of day
• Anything else you choose to tell us in the notes box, such as the type of fireplace or a problem you've noticed

The short booking card on some pages asks for a few of the same details. If you start there, your answers are held in your browser for that visit only, so the full form can be filled in for you.

When you call, text or email

We keep a record of your phone number, messages and emails so we can respond and keep track of your appointment.

During your visit

Our technicians take photos and camera footage of your chimney, fireplace, roofline and nearby areas to build your photo report and any repair estimate. We keep a record of the work done and what we found.

Automatically, when you browse

Like most websites, the server that hosts this site may record basic technical information such as your IP address, browser type and the pages you request. This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, which means your browser connects to Google's servers to download them.

How we use it

• Scheduling your visit: confirming your appointment and your 2-hour arrival window.
• Texts about your appointment: confirmations, an on-the-way text with your technician's name and photo, and your photo report. These texts are about your job, not advertising.
• Doing the work: getting to the right address, preparing for your type of chimney, and writing up findings and estimates.
• Following up: answering questions about your visit, a repair estimate or a review.
• Running the business: invoicing, keeping job records and meeting legal or tax obligations.

If you'd like us to stop texting you, tell us by phone, text or email and we'll stop. Standard message and data rates from your carrier may apply.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, and we don't share it with anyone for their own marketing.

We share information only when it's needed to serve you:

• Service providers that help us run the business, such as our website host, scheduling and texting software, email and accounting tools. They may only use it to provide their service to us.
• People you ask us to share with, for example sending your inspection report to your realtor, home inspector, insurer or property manager.
• When the law requires it, or to protect the safety of people or property.

Cookies and analytics

This site does not use advertising cookies or tracking pixels. The site uses your browser's temporary session storage only to carry booking details from the short booking card to the full booking form during a single visit. It's cleared when you close the tab.

If we add website analytics or advertising tools in the future, we'll update this section to say which ones and how to opt out.

How long we keep it

We keep customer and job records, including photo reports, for as long as we need them to serve you, answer questions about past work, and meet our legal and tax obligations. Booking requests that never turn into a visit are deleted when they're no longer needed.

Keeping it safe

We limit access to customer information to the people who need it to do their job, and we use reputable providers to store it. No method of sending or storing data is perfectly secure, but we take reasonable care to protect yours.

Your choices

Children

This website is meant for adults arranging home services. We don't knowingly collect information from children under 13.
